Our coastal areas are facing issues of extreme degradation including shrinking shorelines from global warming, clogged wetlands from plastic and other waste, and overdevelopment. The goal of The Environmental Center is to connect the individual and locality to the role they play in improving coastal health. The project will be a center for education and action. It will provide specific knowledge of local issues and tools to improve the environment. The pavilions erected by the organization will be located in dense beachfront communities where individual activities play a direct impact on the community. Our Focus is to provide tasks and tools for cleaning and repairing beaches and wetlands and to assist with day to day lifestyle decisions and products that have an impact on the local environment. We also focus on changing community policy and governmental actions that can improve existing and new development like permitting, and zoning.
